A Woman Was Killed In A Findlay House Fire Sunday Evening

12/19/16 – 5:39 P.M.

A woman was killed in a house fire on South West Street Sunday evening. Firefighters were called to a house fire on the second floor of a home at 721 South West Street around 10:50 p.m. While fighting the flames they found a victim of the house fire. According to a release, they believe that the victim was the 59-year-old homeowner Susan Schilling. A coroner was contacted and an autopsy was ordered. There were no other injuries.

The fire caused about $60,000 worth of damage. The investigation of the fire is ongoing. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
