All Evacuation Orders Lifted in San Diego County

ABC News(LOS ANGELES) — Thousands of California residents are returning to their homes after at least 10 fires ravaged parts of San Diego County.

While four active fires still remain, all evacuation orders were lifted Sunday.

The wildfires burned a total of 27,000 acres and have caused nearly $20 million in damages.

On ABC’s This Week, California Governor Jerry Brown says this might be just the beginning of a long fire season.

“Yes, it’s under control for the moment, but we’re in a very serious fire season, more serious than we’ve seen before so we have to watch and be very careful,” Brown said.
