Alliance Outlines 2013 Progress

Alliance Meeting 1/29/14 4 PM grs
The Findlay-Hancock County Alliance outlined their progress in 2013 at their annual meeting Wednesday. A total of 544 jobs were created through 21 projects in 2013 with 18 projects due to expansion of local companies. Employment increased to 38,100, the highest number of people employed since 2008. Steps were also taken to develop a site plan for a new industrial park as the Alliance continues to reach out to new companies to locate in Findlay and Hancock County.

Through the Economic Restructuring Committee, Findlay’s Downtown will continue to be a focal point and asset to the community, working to make downtown a great place place to work, live, walk and socialize. The committee will continue to work with downtown building owners to fill vacant store-fronts.
