Another Arctic Blast Bearing Down On Region

Another brutal stretch of winter started bearing down on the area over the weekend, and it continues into today.  Hancock, Putnam and Seneca Counties are under level 2 snow emergencies.  A level 2 means you should only be driving if necessary.

A winter weather advisory remains in place in Hancock, Seneca, Wood, and Wyandot Counties until 10 a.m. For Putnam, Henry and Allen Counties the advisory is in place until 1 p.m. We’ll see a wind chill advisory be put in place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. tonight for Hancock, Seneca, Wood, and Wyandot Counties, and that will be followed by a wind chill warning until noon Wednesday. The warning will go into effect for Putnam, Henry and Allen Counties at 7 a.m. today and last through Wednesday.

Wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero are possible between tonight and Wednesday.
