A school district in northern Seneca County has reconsidered a move made to suspend its treasurer. The Review-Times reports the Bettsville School Board voted yesterday to reinstate Roger Luhring. Earlier this week the board voted to suspend Luhring pending an investigation concerning his role in making slow payments for services.
The school board released a statement Thursday saying it was in, “the best interest to reinstate Roger Luhring to the Treasurer position and to continue to assist and explore the severe cash flow problems that triggered the late payments.”
