Carey Looks To Expand Recycling Efforts

2/21/14 – 7:35 A.M.

The village of Carey is working to expand recycling services. The Wyandot County Solid Waste District is submitting a grant on behalf of the village that would help officials buy two containers for drop-off recycling. The containers cost around $8,600.

If the grant is approved, the bins would be placed near the Carey Senior Depot on East Findlay Street. They would be available for residents who don’t want to wait for the curbside recycling to be picked up.
