Carey Schools Seek Land Swap With Village

Land Swap 12/17/13 11:40 AM grs
Carey school officials are asking the village to consider a land swap for property that is more accessible to utilities. Superintendent Mike Wank wants to trade the land of their existing school building for land the village owns near Memorial Park according to the Courier. The swap would help alleviate problems with bringing utilities to the site of a new school building that is planned for the district. A similar request was turned down by the village years ago but village council is willing to talk about it.
