Nathan Nuveman

Nathan Nuveman has graduated from the Army drill cadet leadership course. The prime objective of the course is to provide third year cadets the opportunity to develop leadership abilities through realistic and practical experience by performing the duties of a noncommissioned or junior commissioned officer.

The academy is the nation’s oldest service academy. Each year more than 4,000 men and women are enrolled in the four-year educational institution which is charged with the task of providing the nation with leaders of character who serve the common defense. Upon graduation cadets receive a bachelor’s degree and a commission in the U.S. Army. Nuveman earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Stephanie and Todd Nuveman of East Main Street, Leipsic. The airman is a 2012 graduate of Leipsic High School.

Mitchell D. Wilson

Air Force Reserve Airman Mitchell D. Wilson graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.  Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.  Wilson earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Linda Korcher of North Warpole Street, Upper Sandusky, and Jim Wilson of County Highway 59, Nevada.  The airman is a 2011 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School.

Aaron M. Roper

Air Force Airman Aaron M. Roper graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

David Dunten

Army National Guard Pvt. David Dunten has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions.  Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

Dunten is the son of Darwin and Polly Dunten of Cynthia Court, Findlay. He is a 2012 graduate of Findlay High School.
