How
To Enter:1) Fill out the registration blank below and put in the registration box at DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace.
2) Ask for your free tomato plant between May 23rd - June 1st.
3) Plant your DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace tomato plant.
4) Try to grow the top tomato based on size, perfection, and uniqueness.
5) Listen during WFIN's Good Mornings with Chris Oaks 6 to 8:30am and WFIN's Phone Club with Kelly Green 9 to 11am for Top Tomato updates.
6) Bring your Top Tomato to DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace in Findlay, on Friday, August 22nd from 9 to 10am during a live Phone Club remote. One entry per person.
Categories:
• LARGEST...Determined by weight. If a tie on weight, the tomato with the largest circumference will be the winner.
• MOST PERFECT...The most perfect tomato, smoothest, best shape, etc. as judged by the judges.
• MOST UNIQUE...Whatever differentiates it from the other tomatoes: Most unusual color, weirdest shape, the most unusual will be chosen by the judges, all decisions by the judges are final.
Prizes:
The Winner in each category will receive a DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace gift certificate.
Contest Rules:
Winners will be determined by judges from DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace and WFIN from all tomatoes submitted by contestants during special live broadcast at DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace in Findlay on 1330, WFIN on Friday, August 22nd from 9 to 10am Employees and immediate families of DeHaven Home & Garden Showplace and The Findlay Publishing Company are not eligible. Decision of the judges is final.
