Findlay Earns “Tree City” Designation

4/28/14 – 7:36 A.M.

Findlay has been named a “Tree City” again. The designation from the Arbor Day Foundation means the city is committed to effective urban forest management. The city must meet four requirements to earn the award. There has to be a tree department and a tree care ordinance. The city must also have a forestry budget of two dollars per capita and observe Arbor Day with a proclamation.
