Findlay Man Injured After Bike Hit By SUV Thursday Night

7/18/14 – 5:11 A.M.

A Findlay man was injured when a car hit a bike south of McComb Thursday night. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened around 10:15 p.m. on Pleasant Township Road 235.

56-year-old Roger Fry was riding his bike north on Road 235 when he was hit from behind by a Honda CRV driven by 54-year-old Peng Chailee of Carey. Fry was wearing a helmet and had working lights on his bike. He was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was treated and released for minor injuries.


Chailee was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance.
