A Findlay woman is still in the hospital following a Sunday crash near Upper Sandusky. 39-year-old Heather Plansinis was last listed in fair condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. The State Highway Patrol says she was one of four people injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of U.S. 23 and Wyandot County Road 121 Sunday afternoon.
Plansinis was driving a Chevy Cruze south on U.S. 23 when a Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Thomas Carter of Upper Sandusky pulled in her path. Plansinis swerved to avoid the crash and ended up in the ditch. She was taken by medical helicopter to Toledo.
Three children in Plansinis’ car suffered minor injuries. Carter was cited for failure to yield.
