Flag City Night Out Planned for August 5

7/28/14  5:40 p.m.

The National Night Out started with people across the county symbolically leaving porch lights on to keep criminals away. In the last 31 years the event has evolved into a family-friendly night of block parties and events nation-wide.

Findlay Police Department’s Crime Prevention Officer Brian Dill said Flag City’s Night out is more than just a way to keep criminals at bay.
