Leipsic Man Injured In Weekend Motorcycle Crash

A Leipsic man was injured in a motorcycle crash west of McComb over the weekend. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reports happened just before 12:30 a.m Sunday. 32-year-old Michael Peterson was riding his Harley-Davidson west on State Route 613 near Pleasant Township Road 117 when he went off the left side of the road.

Peterson was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. PMP Emergency Medical Services took him to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
