No Decision On If Fostoria Shooting Suspect Will Be Tried As An Adult

No decision has been made on if a teenage murder suspect will be tried as an adult. The Review-Times reports 17-year-old Garrett Brown appeared in juvenile court last Friday. Judge Jay Meyer will issue a written decision on the issue soon according to the newspaper.

Brown is accused of killing 20-year-old Janelle Mauricio on May 21. The shooting was allegedly part of an attempt to take money and drugs from an East Culbertson Street home. 19-year-old Caleb Barto was also attacked by the suspects in the crime.

18-year-old Tyson Ogg and 19-year-old Dallas Salaz are also charged in the case.
