A voucher program aimed at helping needy families in McComb has been discontinued. The Courier reports the Hancock Christian Clearing House in Findlay had been handing out vouchers for assistance with things like food, utilities, gas and prescriptions – but over the past eight months only around 20 requests came in.
Clearning House officials said when the program launched they wanted to expand services to people who may not be able to make it into Findlay to take advantage of programs offered by the organization.
