A threatening letter has the North Baltimore School District on high alert. A letter from Superintendent Marlene North on the district’s website says the threat was non-specific, and doesn’t go into the details of what was said. North says in the upcoming weeks there will be a heightened police presence in the district’s buildings even though there has been nothing to lend credibility to the letter. She adds the staff has been put on alert as well.
North goes on to say if there is any perceived threat to the safety and well-being of the students and staff, the district will proceed accordingly.
