Oman To Run Again For Commissioners Seat

2/6/14 3:50 p.m.
A former Hancock County Commissioner will again throw his hat into the ring for the Republican primary race for commissioner. The Courier reports Steve Oman, who lost his seat to Ed Ingold in 2004, will run in the May Primary. Oman, a known outspoken opponent to flood control measures recommended by the Army Corps of Engineers, submitted his petitions Tuesday. Oman ran unsuccessfully for commissioner in 2006 and 2008 and is challenging commissioner Phil Riegle who is finishing up his second four-year term.
