Planning Commission Approves Road Closure For UF Stadium Project

Work continues to get the new University of Findlay stadium project off the ground. The Findlay City Planning Commission approved closing Foulke Avenue from Morey Avenue to Cory Street at their Thursday meeting. Four alleys will also be closed to make way for the stadium.

City council will vote on the closures at an upcoming meeting.

The university hasn’t set a construction schedule yet. The plan is to have the women’s lacrosse team playing on the stadium’s turf next spring. The football team would then play in the completed stadium in the fall of that year.
