Radios To Put Schools In Touch With Law Enforcement Instantly

Findlay City and most Hancock County Schools could soon be in touch with local law enforcement at the touch of a button. Area schools have applied for a grant that will allow them to purchase radios that are part of the Multi-Agency radio Communications system that police have been using for years according to the Courier. The availability of the grant to pay for the radios, which are $2,000 each, is something school officials appreciate especially in the wake of school shootings such as Newtown, Conn. a year ago.
