The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash in Washington Township Thursday afternoon. At around 1:20 p.m. 21 year-old Travis Wolph of Findlay was northbound on Township Road 261 when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of State Route 613. He pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 67 year-old Betty Palmerton of Rising Sun. Both vehicles went off the northwest corner of the intersection, Palmerton’s vehicle coming to rest in a yard, Wolph’s vehicle hitting a guide wire to a power pole. Wolph was treated and released at the scene. Palmerton was taken to Fostoria Community Hospital for minor injuries. Wolph was cite for failure to yield.
