Seneca County Economic Development Chief Retires

The Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corporation chief is stepping down after 23 years. 66 year-old Rich Focht has been head of economic development activities in Seneca county since 1990. Focht’s last day will be Tuesday and his replacement, David Zak will take over January 6. Zak was chief of the Business Services Division at the Ohio Development Services Agency. Focht plans to run for Tiffin City Council in the future.
