The 2015 budget is likely to include a slight increase to the capital improvements budget. This year 17 percent of the city’s budget went towards capital improvement. Next year that could increase to 18 percent.

There was also good news from the airport. The facility will not need a subsidy from the city to sustain operations in 2015. They city paid $50,000 to the airport in 2014, and more than three times that the year before.

The news wasn’t as good for the Riverside Pool. The city is expected to increase its subsidy from $22,500 to $49,000 to help keep the pool operating.
