McComb is looking at how to jump start development downtown. The Courier reports village council agreed to explore the process of starting an economic development group to tackle the issue. Council and the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation will split the $1,750 it will cost to hire the AdviCoach firm to help McComb put the group together.

It’s expected the group will include representatives from the local government, Hearthside Food Solutions, McComb schools, civic groups and possibly others.
