Two Fostoria Homes Targeted In Drug Raid

12/13/13 – 6:49 A.M.

Two homes in Fostoria were raided by law enforcement officers Thursday morning, and the residents of the homes could be facing charges as a result. A release from the Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit says officers served search warrants at a home on North Town Street and at a Stadium Drive residence. People living in the area had complained drugs were being sold out of the homes, as well as being trafficked between the two locations.

Officials say heroin, money, prescription drugs, criminal tools and a large amount of drug paraphernalia were found in the North Town Street home. Three juveniles under the age of 12 were also found in that house. Marijuana, criminal tools and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the Stadium Drive house.

The Health Department and Children Services were contacted about the incident. Charges are pending the outcome of lab testing of the materials found in the homes.
