A Full-Circle Moment

First, thank you for the kind notes of congratulations and well wishes as I begin my new role as editor of Ohio’s Country Journal. It is truly an honor to serve the agricultural community in this capacity and continue the legacy of this publication. I’ve already enjoyed my first few weeks immensely!
At the heart of it all, I believe agriculture is about people, and that stories have the power to connect, inspire, and preserve the values we hold dear.
Becoming editor feels like a full-circle moment. As a college student at The Ohio State University, I was fortunate to receive the Ed Johnson Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to just one student each year. Later that year, I nervously introduced myself to Bart Johnson at a Night for Young Professionals event hosted by OCJ and OAN.
