Dicamba Cutoff Reminder

The date has now passed for dicamba products registered to be used over the top in emerged soybeans, even though some soybeans were just replanted in the last few weeks, and double crop soybeans are going in the ground. There has been much uncertainty regarding the use of dicamba for the 2024 growing season and beyond as a result of the vacated dicamba registration in February and the EPA’s existing stocks order for dicamba use in 2024 that soon followed. (On February 6th, 2024 the 2020 registrations for the three dicamba products labeled for over-the-top applications in soybean (Xtendimax, Bayer; Engenia, BASF; and Tavium, Syngenta) were vacated by a federal court in Arizona.)
