Arrangements Made For Parking During Justice Center Construction In Tiffin

8/17/16 – 7:22 A.M.

Parking could be tricky in Tiffin during the construction of the new Seneca County Joint Justice Center. The Review-Times reports the county commissioners are looking at several options to help ease the problem.

Commissioner Fred Zoeller said he is talking with the Elks Club on East Perry Street about using part of their lot during the day. The club doesn’t open until 4 p.m. so there would only be a little overlap in when county employees would need the lot. Zoeller says he’s offered $100 a month for the use of 20-30 spots.

In the meantime, arrangements have been made for Court Street businesses. Center spaces in the city-owned lot 7 will be open to retail businesses in the area. The Tiffin administration has also agreed to let county employees use other city lots.
