Failed drug tests have seen an increase among the workforce but Ohio is partnering with Working Partners to help. Ohio has joined the Drug-Free Workforce Community Initiative. Hancock County ADAMHS’ Director of Wellness and Education Zach Thomas said that the program will help businesses update their drug policies. This could include second chances for those that fail the drug tests.
Thomas said their partnership has made progress with help.
Some of the stakeholders include the Bureau of Workers Compensation, Jobs and Family services, and Hancock Hires. They will discuss ways to keep the area stable and how to help it progress.
