MAP: Planned Power Outage This Weekend For North Side Of Findlay

1/26/17 – 6:46 A.M.

If you live on the north side of Findlay you could lose your power this weekend. American Electric Power says it has a planned outage set for Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m. AEP crews will be working on a new substation on Hancock County Road 99 at that time.

Inside the city, the outage will stretch to Hancock County Road 216 to the north, Melrose Avenue to the south, I-75 to the west, and Jennifer Lane and France Street to the east. Addresses south of 2900 North Main street won’t have power for around 20 minutes. Homes and businesses north of there could be without electricity for between one and four hours.

The outage will affect traffic signals. You’re reminded to treat them as four-way stops.
