Four Michigan women are facing charges in a 20-state crime spree that targeted Walmart stores in the region. The Sentinel-Tribune reports the scam allegedly cost the retail giant more than $550,000. 23-year-olds Roshana Bridges and Sara Walt along with 22-year-olds Diamond Fields and Keonna Snell face charges including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and money laundering.

In our area, the women allegedly ran their scam at Walmart locations in Findlay, Lima, and Bowling Green.

Authorities say the group used counterfeit cash credit cards. The cards had false instructions on them that tricked cash registers into believing it had accepted cash as payment.
