Crash Near McComb Injures Two

A one-car crash injured two people near McComb early Sunday morning. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on State Route 613, west of Pleasant Township Road 123 around 1 a.m.

29-year-old Thomas Thompson was driving west on Route 613 when he lost control and hit a utility pole. The crash caused part of McComb to lose power. Thompson and his passenger received treatment at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

The sheriff’s office says alcohol was a “determining factor.”
