Students Learn About The Workings Of State Government

(From Findlay City Schools)

This past weekend, our Findlay High School Youth & Government delegation traveled to Columbus for the Ohio State Assembly. For three days, the “workings of government” came alive as our students stepped into the roles of legislators, lobbyists, media correspondents, and even Supreme Court justices.

More than just a mock session: Our Trojans spent months preparing through debate practice and service-learning. At the Statehouse, they put those skills to the test—discussing the issues they are passionate about through the lens of civil discourse.

Whether they were arguing an appellate case or drafting a bill, these students proved that the future of leadership is bright in Trojan Country!

Thank you to FHS student and Media Correspondent, Ryan Ponchone, for taking such incredible photos.
