Property Owner Applies For Annexation Into Findlay City Limits
The owner of a property just east of Findlay has applied for annexation into the city limits.
The property is the Shady Grove Golf Course on the south side of U.S. 224.
The annexation has been approved by the Hancock County Board of Commissioners, and still must be approved by Findlay City Council.
A developer wants to build market rate apartments on the site.
Findlay City Council, at its April 7 meeting, will consider an ordinance to provide utilities to the property.
The property will go before the Findlay City Planning Commission on April 9 to receive its initial zoning.
