Sheriff’s Office Releases Monthly Activity Report

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to serving our communities with professionalism, integrity, excellence, and accountability.

During the month of May 2026, our deputies, corrections staff, communications personnel, records staff, and support divisions continued working hard to serve Hancock County.

Our deputies also remained active throughout our villages and townships, conducting premises checks, follow-up investigations, warrant services, suspicious activity calls, theft and fraud reports, domestic disturbance responses, and other community-based law enforcement services. The May village report reflects activity within village boundaries, while the township report reflects patrol activity outside village boundaries.

We appreciate the continued support of the Hancock County community and remain dedicated to providing professional public safety services across every part of our county.
