Ramírez (left hamate) has stitches removed, could swing bat soon
Ramírez’s numbers this season are down compared to his standard, though he still logged a .757 OPS with 18 doubles, 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and 24 stolen bases while appearing in each of the Guardians’ first 72 games. Cleveland entered Tuesday with a 10-14 record in June, which included a 5-8 mark without Ramírez. The Guardians were 44-41 overall, one game behind the upstart White Sox (44-39) in the AL Central.
