School Supply Drive Set For This Weekend In Fostoria

Fostoria residents have a chance to make back-to-school a little easier for families this year. The Review-Times reports the second annual “Fun in the Sun” school supply drive is set for Saturday. The joint effort between The United Way of Fostoria, Fostoria City Schools, and Kroger runs from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Kroger location on West High Street.

People shopping at the grocery store can buy a school supply box to donate for $6.99 during the event. They can also buy several dollar items near the self-scan station and drop them in donation bins.

Last year’s event saw residents donate more than 1,500 school supplies.
