Telling the story for farmers when it is time to be in the field (Part 1)

Every farmer knows that when conditions are fit in the spring to go to the field, it is important to be prepared and get in the field, not losing time during the often short but valuable weather windows. While many farmers were busy planting this spring, the United Soybean Board conducted a media tour to spread the word about all the good things going on with soybeans. Philip Good, a farmer from Macon, Mississippi, serves as Chairman of the United Soybean Board and recently participated in the media tour on behalf of soybean farmers.

“The media tour had a jam-packed schedule over several days, allowing us to express our appreciation for what the media does. We also had the opportunity when we visited with them to have difficult conversations about some of the challenges soybean growers are facing in business and on our farms,” Good said.… Continue reading
