The work of the US Soybean Export Council

Roughly 60% of the soybeans produced in the United States are exported. The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) focuses on differentiating, elevating preference, and attaining market access for the use of U.S. Soy for human consumption, aquaculture, and livestock feed internationally. USSEC members represent the soy supply chain including U.S. Soy farmers, processors, commodity shippers, merchandisers, allied agribusinesses, and agricultural organizations. USSEC is a 20-year-old organization funded by the U.S. soybean checkoff, USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) matching funds, and the soybean industry. Steve Rezac, a soybean farmer from Kansas currently serves as chairman USSEC.
