Ashland University Player Collapses During UF Men’s Basketball Scrimmage

An Ashland University basketball player is recovering after he collapsed on the floor during a Wednesday scrimmage against the University of Findlay. The Richland Source reports a medical helicopter took Nick Bapst to the Ohio State University Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital following the incident.

A social media post from a family member says emergency personnel revived Bapst after he passed out. It added that Bapst may have suffered from cardiac arrest while on the court.
