Carey School Board Agrees To Buy Property

The Carey school board agreed to buy more land during their Tuesday meeting. The Courier reports the district is paying $22,000 for 5.7 acres of property. The land is south of the old railroad bed property that the district already owns.
The district could use the area for a parking lot for the track and junior high football field.
