Cooper Opens New Facility In Mississippi

The Findlay based Cooper Tire and Rubber Company has a new facility in Mississippi. The 1 million-square-foot warehouse is a leased facility and employs about 100 workers. It is the largest distribution center for Cooper nationwide.

Cooper says that the building offers more flexibility because it is centrally located between its three U.S. tire manufacturing plants. It allows Cooper to efficiently consolidate and distribute products directly to customers as well as supply its regional distribution centers. The warehouse has the capacity to expand to an additional 400,000 square feet as needed in the future.
