County Commissioners Talk About Court Costs During State Of the County Preview

The Hancock County Commissioners gave a preview of the State of the County at the First Friday Republican Luncheon. Commissioner Tim Bechtol said that while the county is doing well economically, safety and security funds continue to be an issue.
Bechtol said that the issues stem from the opioid epidemic. He added that the future isn’t bleak.
The campaign looks to connect people suffering from substance abuse disorders with services that will help them. Bechtol said that this could help keep them out of the court system.
