Despite Icy Sunday Morning Conditions, Relatively Few Crashes Reported

Local law enforcement only dealt with a handful of crashes as area residents braved icy roads Sunday morning. Fortunately, no local law enforcement agencies saw any major crashes.

The Findlay Police Department responded to at least five minor accidents Sunday morning. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and State Patrol also dealt with a couple of slide-off crashes.

The Courier reports law enforcement in Putnam, Wyandot, and Wood Counties also reported relatively few crashes given the icy Sunday morning conditions.
