Downtown Demolition Project Approved
5/31/19 – 5:10 A.M.
The Hancock County commissioners have awarded a contract to ALL Excavating and Demolition of McComb to tear down two buildings on North Main Street in Findlay. The company submitted a low bid of just under $60,000 for the project.
The demolition is part of flood-reduction efforts near the Blanchard River. The vacant buildings at 130 and 136 North Main Street once housed the former Karl Kuhlman body shop and B & T’s Asian Market.
The contract says demolition has to finish by the end of July.
