Election Results: Only 30 Percent Of Hancock County Voters Cast Ballots

Only 30 percent of registered voters in Hancock County cast a ballot in the 2017 general election. That’s a far cry from the last off-year election. In 2015, more than 46 percent of registered voters cast ballots.

Just over 15,000 people voted this year. Hancock County has nearly 51,000 registered voters.
