Elizabeth Smart Coming To The University of Findlay

The University of Findlay will have Elizabeth Smart speaking next Friday. Smart is a survivor of an abduction back in 2002 when she was 14-years-old. She was held captive for 9 months before police were able to find her and return her to her family. Now she is an advocate for change related to child abductions, recovery programs, and national legislation.

Her presentation will be next Friday at 3 p.m. at the University of Findlay’s Alumni Memorial Union’s Multipurpose room. It is free and open to the public.
