6/29/18 – 5:00 A.M.
A weekend heat wave arrives today. The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for Putnam, Allen, and Henry counties. The warning is in effect from noon today until Sunday night. The forecast calls for temperatures to top out around the mid-to-high 90s the next three days. The humidity will make it feel more like 105 at times. The National Weather Service says the heat index could even reach 110 Saturday.
Areas outside of the Excessive Heat Warning are also going to see very hot conditions. The forecast in Findlay today calls for high humidity and temperatures in the mid-90s over the next three days.
Health officials urge you to take precautions to stay safe during the heat wave.
