Findlay City Schools Hosting Competition So Area Students Can Learn About Cyber Security

Findlay City Schools is partnering with the Ohio Cyber Collaborative Committee to teach students about cyber security. Director of information technology Martin White explained that its important to start teaching kids about cyber technology at a young age.
Findlay City Schools will be hosting a competition in which students from area schools and colleges will learn different aspects of cyber security. White explained that this gives students hands-on experience.
There will also be a free presentation on cyber security provided by representatives of OC3.
Registration for the competition will start at 8:30 a.m. and the competition will last until 4 p.m. The presentation will be from 9-10 a.m. Both events are being held in the Donnell Middle School.
