Firefighters Battle Mobile Home Blaze In Southern Hancock County

Firefighters in southern Hancock County responded to a mobile home fire early Monday morning. The fire happened around 1:40 a.m. at 19237 State Route 235, just south of State Route 103. The Jenera, Mount Cory, and Bluffton fire departments battled the blaze.
The fire caused around $20,000 in damage to the home. It appears the fire started in the bathroom. So far there’s no word on what started the blaze. No one was injured.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family who lived in the home.
